Superflow
tip extractor for solder fume.
Purex solder fume extractors are specifically designed to
prevent personnel from inhaling hazardous solder fumes generated by soldering
irons. These systems
can cater for cells of up to 50 soldering iron users from one central unit,
whilst multiple units can be installed to increase capacity and prolong
filter life.
Typical applications: -
- Assembly work
- Rework & repair stations
- Training workshops
System features
The combination of solder fume extractor and accessories allows
good flexibility. Lightweight adaptor kits are available
for all common
soldering irons and solder pot stations can be introduced to the line
by using stainless steel mini flexi arms. All materials used in the construction
of accessories are ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe and the extraction
hose is made of burn proof silicone.

Typical Installation
- Anti-Static Pipe
- Access Plug
- Swept “T”
- Straight Connector
- Swept Bend 90º
- Bend 45º
- Flexible Coupling Assembly
- Extended On/Off Tap Kit
- Silicone Hose
- Cable Tie
- Purex System
Unlike "vent to atmosphere" systems, the Purex solder fume extractor
allows workstations to be relocated quickly and efficiently by using
quick release connectors. The ON/OFF taps can be used to close off the airflow to unused soldering stations. The Purex machine will automatically adjust the speed of the blower UP or DOWN to compensate and keep airflow constant to all soldering stations that are in use.
Features and Benefits:

Energy and cost savings in real terms.
In addition to the safe removal and purification of dust and fumes PUREX systems offer real benefits in terms of quality and cost saving. Unlike
external venting systems, PUREX machines recirculate warm air from
the factory so that heating & air conditioning costs are reduced.
Further benefits include:
- No planning permission required to cut holes in roofs
- No loss of building/roofing warranties
- No bulky and expensive pipework
- No build up of pipework contamination
