 Patented Knuckle Joint - Multi Position Arms
Purex multi-position fume extraction arms incorporate a unique patented knuckle joint to ensure reliable positioning, time after time.
A spring loaded tensioning bolt enables the operator to tighten the arm using minimum force, creating a positive lock between serrated inner cams on the inside of the knuckle halves.
Once set to the correct tension, the position of the arm can be adjusted without unscrewing and re-tightening the bolt. The spring action allows the cams to ride over each other and click into place as the arm is rotated, relocking the new position automatically.
This patented joint ensures that the arms: -
- Do not slip
- Do not spring back
- Can be rotated without adjusting the tension
- Can be precisely positioned

Purex multi-position fume extraction arms incorporate a unique patented knuckle joint to ensure reliable positioning, time after time.
The telescopic pen-nib nozzle gives greater flexiblity when working on products at different heights and allows extraction to be installed in areas where access is otherwise impossible.

Where fumes spread rapidly, for example in draughty working conditions, the Cleancab™ fume hood can enclose the source, enabling fumes to be captured before they contaminate the workplace.
